Please confirm that the e-license delivery E-mail address is the same as the registered user E-mail address. Basically only the e-license delivery E-mail address can activate the license.

We encourage you to let your customers activate their own licenses themselves. However, if they are having difficulties, it is possible then to activate the license on customer’s behalf.

Licenses are tied to the person who completed the original activation. Only registered users can transfer the licenses that they own. For any license transfer issues please contact HP license support teams providing them with the following information:

You can proceed with a rehost operation on the My HP Licensing portal or contact your local Hewlett-Packard License Center providing the following information:

  • License Entitlement Order Number (EON)
  • HP Order Number
  • Old MAC Address

You should either receive a blue envelope with an Entitlement Certificate or an email with a link to an Entitlement Certificate. You can find the EON on this certificate. If the certificate has been lost or you did not receive, please contact Licensing Support Team via:
